La Escuela de Graduados de Estudios Militares del Ejército de República Dominicana (EGEMERD), de la Facultad de Ciencias Militares de la Universidad Nacional para la Defensa (UNADE), realizó una visita académica a las instalaciones del puerto multimodal Caucedo.
La visita tiene el objetivo de que los oficiales en Comando y Estado mayor, conozcan la forma como opera esta importante terminal, la cual se usa para operaciones de carga, con conexiones a varios países del área del caribe, así como las operaciones que realizan las diferentes agencias estatales que convergen en la misma.
De su lado, el Director General de EGEMERD, Coronel Jorge Luis Vásquez Suarez, ERD., (DEM), dijo que esta visita académica, se realiza siguiendo las instrucciones del Comandante General del ERD, Mayor General Carlos A. Fernández Onofre, y que forma parte de la formación integral que reciben los oficiales superiores integrantes de los diferentes programas que se imparten en la misma.
