Autoridades y Estudiantes de la Escuela de Comando y Estado Mayor de las Fuerzas Armadas de Honduras (ECEMFFAA), realizaron una visita a la Escuela de Graduados de Estudios Militares del ERD., de la Facultad de Ciencias Militares del Instituto Superior para la Defensa, INSUDE.
La visita de los Estudiantes de Honduras, tiene como objetivo el intercambio de conocimientos académicos y estrechar los lazos de amistad entre ambas escuelas. La comitiva de los militares de Honduras estuvo acompañada por el Coronel Freddy Antonio Marte Acosta, Director de la Escuela de Graduados de Doctrina Conjunta, así como por miembros de la plana mayor de dicha Escuela.
En ese sentido, los visitantes fueron recibidos por el coronel Jorge Luis Vásquez Suárez, ERD. (DEM), Director General de la EGEMERD, acompañado por su Plana Mayor y las autoridades Académicas y Administrativas de la casa de altos estudios militares, al ritmo de la música interpretada por un conjunto típico dominicano.
El Coronel Vásquez Suárez, mostró a los distinguidos visitantes, la Filosofía Institucional de EGEMERD, los objetivos, el organigrama, la oferta académica, los proyectos que están en desarrollo, así como la proyección futura de la escuela, la estructura y funcionamiento de la Institución. Los oficiales hondureños recibieron una exposición sobre el funcionamiento del simulador de situaciones o caja de arena de la casa de altos estudios militares del Ejército.
Al finalizar la actividad, el Coronel Jorge Luis Vásquez Suárez, ERD, (DEM), Director General de la escuela, les hizo entrega de la moneda institucional de EGEMERD, en nombre del Mayor Gral. Carlos A. Fernández Onofre, Comandante General del ERD.
