Con una Solemne Eucaristía Oficiada por el Reverendo Padre Alexis DeversReyes, Capellán Mayor del ERD, la Escuela de Graduados de Estudios Militares del Ejército de República Dominicana, (EGEMERD), de la Facultad de Ciencias Militares de la Universidad Nacional para la Defensa, celebró el 9no. Aniversario de su fundación.
Esta fue celebrada con la presenciadel Coronel Jorge Luis Vásquez Suárez, ERD, (DEM), Director General de la Escuela, acompañado por los Sub Directores, Encargados departamentales, Docentes, personal de administrativo y los estudiantes.
También contamos con la presencia del Mayor Gral.(R), Ramiro Matos González,E.N., cuyo nombre honra a la escuela, así como el embajador William PáezPiantini, ambos recibieron un reconocimiento en agradecimiento por sus aportes a EGEMERD y a la instrucción militar.
En su mensaje, el Coronel Vásquez Suárez, felicitó al personal de la escuela por su desempeño y agradeció la confianza depositada en él por el Mayor General Carlos A.Fernández Onofre, así como el gran apoyo recibido para que EGEMERD siga aportando una educación militar de calidad.
En ese sentido aseguró que hoy, renovamos nuestro compromiso con la misión de esta Institución, y confiamos que, con la bendición de Dios, seguiremos avanzando con determinación y honor, que esta celebración sea un recordatorio de nuestra responsabilidad y un estímulo para un futuro brillante, que quede en nuestra memoria de que juntos, podemos superar cualquier desafío que se presente.
