Como parte de las evaluaciones contempladas en los programas de estudios, fue realizada una prueba de resistencia física a los estudiantes de la Especialidad y Curso en Comando y Estado Mayor para Fuerzas Terrestres, así como a los de Operaciones Militares para Oficiales Auxiliares de la Escuela de Graduados de Estudios Militares del Ejército de República Dominicana, “Mayor Gral. Ramiro Matos González, EN”., (EGEMERD.), perteneciente a la Facultad de Ciencias Militares de la Universidad Nacional para la Defensa, “General Juan Pablo Duarte y Díez”, (UNADE). Esta evaluación física forma parte de los requisitos que deben cumplir los oficiales superiores que cursan para graduarse y obtener los diferentes títulos que emite la EGEMERD.
Los estudiantes, recorrieron las instalaciones de la Dirección General de Educación, Capacitación y Entrenamiento Militar, demostrando su resistencia física, durante las pruebas, fueron acompañados y supervisados por las autoridades e instructores de la escuela. De su lado, el Cnel. Jorge Luis Vásquez Suárez, ERD, (DEM). Director General de la escuela de altos estudios Militares, aseguro que es de interés del Mayor Gral. Carlos Antonio Fernández Onofre, Comandante General del ERD, que los miembros de la institución, desde el más joven soldado hasta el más antiguo de los oficiales, mantengan excelentes condiciones físicas, para realizar su labor con el más alto nivel de habilidad operacional fruto del entrenamiento constante.
