La Escuela de Graduados de Estudios Militares del Ejército de República Dominicana (EGEMERD), perteneciente a la Facultad de Ciencias Militares de la Universidad Nacional para la Defensa (UNADE). Congrega al personal docente, para tratar temas internos de la institución.
El objetivo de dicha reunión, fue proponer un nombre al Auditorio y el salón de reuniones de la EGEMERD, de un personaje que esté vinculado en el ámbito de la educación superior militar.
La Reunión se llevó a cabo por las directrices del Mayor General Carlos Antonio Fernández Onofre, Comandante General del ERD, bajo la supervisión del director Gral. de EGEMERD, Cnel. Jorge Luis Vázquez Suárez, ERD. (DEM). También estuvo presente el Mayor General ® Ramírez Matos González, EN. y el personal docente de esta escuela de graduados.
