La Escuela de Graduados de Estudios Militares del Ejército de República Dominicana (EGEMERD), perteneciente a la Facultad de Ciencias Militares de la Universidad Nacional para la Defensa (UNADE), ha finalizado con éxito el programa Desarrollo de la facultad fase 1 dirigido a los docentes del Ejército de RD.
El propósito de este programa formativo fue potenciar las habilidades de planificación, presentación/facilitación y evaluación de la instrucción militar por parte de los docentes.
Este curso, además, introduce una innovación significativa al centrar la instrucción en el estudiante en lugar del instructor.
Las clases se caracterizan por ser dinámicas e interactivas, promoviendo una participación activa donde el instructor comparte la responsabilidad del aprendizaje con los estudiantes.
Cabe destacar que este curso cuenta con la aprobación y respaldo del Comando de Doctrina del Ejército de los Estados Unidos (TRADOC), siendo idéntico al programa impartido en el Instituto de Cooperación para la Seguridad del Hemisferio WHINSEC.
En relación con este logro, el Coronel Jorge Luis Vásquez Suarez, ERD, (DEM), Director General de la EGEMERD, extendió sus felicitaciones a los docentes.
Asimismo, los motivó a poner en práctica los conocimientos adquiridos, recordando que este curso se lleva a cabo por directrices precisas del Mayor General Carlos Antonio Fernández Onofre, Comandante General del ERD, con el objetivo de fortalecer la capacitación del Ejército.
