La Escuela de Graduados de Estudios Militares del Ejército de República Dominicana, de la Facultad de Ciencias Militares de la Universidad Nacional para la Defensa, UNADE , culminó exitosamente el Curso Básico Para Instructores-Facilitadores del Ejército.
Dicho curso fue impartido por primera vez a los oficiales Superiores que realizan la Especialidad y el Curso en Comando y Estado Mayor, por instrucciones del Mayor Gral. Carlos A. Fernández Onofre, Comandante General del ERD, con el objetivo de que los oficiales amplíen aún más sus habilidades de planificar, presentar, facilitar y evaluar la instrucción militar en las diferentes unidades donde prestan servicio.
El Coronel Jorge Luis Vásquez Suárez, ERD, (DEM), Director General de la Escuela de Graduados de Estudios Militares del Ejército de República Dominicana,, arengó a los estudiantes, motivándolos a poner en práctica los conocimientos adquiridos, al tiempo que resaltó la intención del Comandante General del ERD, Mayor Gral. Carlos A. Fernández Onofre, de que los miembros del ERD, se capaciten para cumplir las misiones y tareas asignadas con alto sentido de responsabilidad y eficiencia, a la vez que puedan transmitir los conocimientos a las tropas, en las distintas áreas.
En ese sentido, Vásquez Suárez aseguró que el Curso Básico para Instructores-Facilitadores del ERD, que se imparte en esta escuela, es un aporte del ERD, a la capacitación de los militares que manifiestan su vocación para la enseñanza.
